After two fraught, close encounters, this game was an easier affair. Playing at home to Würenlos, April 9, the RCL Men’s team did what they needed to do, and completed a satisfactory victory.
Several changes to the line-up again tested the squad strength and mentality. And they were not found wanting. The game was effectively over around half-time.
Overall, fitness and stamina were improving, but there was plenty of work to be done. The pack was learning – quickly – how to play as a cohesive, strong unit. The backs were now coming into their own, cutting into their opposition with ease.
Final Score: Luzern 15 – 3 Würenlos
Tries: Raphi, Zebedee (2)
