Many have already heard the tragic news:
Tom Lamb tragically died last Sunday.
Tom Played for us for 3 seasons before stopping because of knee injuries – he remained a loyal supporter and was at many home and away games in all weather supporting the team. He left to go to China through work and was back visiting last weekend. Last Friday after a night out he was punched and fell into a coma. His condition was critical and the doctors gave little hope and he was declared brain dead on Sunday morning. After his family had flown in on Saturday and Sunday the machines were turned off.
Tom thank you for having spent a part of your much too short life with the Rugby Club. Our heartfelt condolences go to your family and friends and we wish them all the strength and positiveness to cope with this tragic blow to their lives.
In sadness
Andy Habermacher
Friend and President
P.S: Flowers and candles have been placed in Seidenhofstrasse (where he was hit) in memory of Tom – please go by to show your respect.
Repose en paix Tom et que dieu t’ouvre la porte de son paradis…
Desparately sorry to hear this tragic news. I met Tom in Munich, September 2003, when he was there celebrating with the Luzern rugby club and then again in luzern a year later. Such an open and friendly guy who made me laugh so much. I send my condolences to his family and to all his friends. How unfair….
We really appreciate your kind thoughts. Tom was a wonderful son and will live on in our memories for ever
Dear Tom
We were all there – yesterday evening at the Crematorium in Luzern – to guide you on your way to eternity.
May you rest in peace.
